Hello World!

Awesome.. it works! Now it's time to make Flagr even better. Remember, this is Flagr at it's most basic of levels. Use it and abuse it (in a good way.) Then tell us what you'd like to see, or what you think could be better. We read everything.

So that's what we're working on today, and tomorrow... and probably the next day.
And remember, we love suggestions.

Guys, Great idea and best of luck with your new venture!! I wanted to contribute to the cause with a program I wrote last year called BlueGPS (http://www.db75.com/symbian/bluegps) and you can view the output on a Google map here: http://www.db75.com/dev/gmaps. BlueGPS has received tremendous downloads at Handango and I think it would make for an interesting combo with Flagr. Please feel free to contact me if you're interested and keep up the great work. Best Regards, Dennis

Normally, I don't like that kind of social software stuff, but I really like the idea behind flagr. I only whish it also would work in Germany / Europe. There are a lot of places I like and would like to share with everyone else... Any plans for opening it to the rest of the world?

Hey Thanks! Well... there's always Double Clicking. If you read the latest post, you'll see some really cool Flags in Russia and all over, including Germany and Europe. Unfortunately, what you're asking isn't up to us :( What's missing is the map data for other countries. We simply can't geocode the addresses there yet. The wonderful companies that provide the data are working really really hard to map the entire world. Soon, everyone will be able to flag by address, but for now, we have to work with what technology and infomation is available. All in good time.
